How is the student life in Esslingen?

The student life in Esslingen is very enjoyable. During the whole semester there are always student parties with great prices.

How much does it cost to live in Esslingen?

I think it's average. You can live well without paying too much attention to your money.

Is it hard to find accommodations in Esslingen? Can you give other students any advice?

I think you can always get an accommodation in one of the four dormitories of the Stuttgart student union. And there are a lot of other possibilities too. Student associations always offer rooms in their WGs and you will always find something on the open market at www.wg-gesucht.de.

How is the food? What are your favorite foods?

The food is wonderful. Here, not far from the capital of Baden-Württemberg, I can obviously recommend Swabian dishes. But the international options are also diverse. American, Italian, Greek, each comes at their price.

Which places in Esslingen should you definitely visit?

The marketplace, especially during the medieval- and Christmas market. The Esslingen castle is also very beautiful, and offers a beautiful view and a big meadow to relax. Also the Maille Park directly at the Stadtmitte Campus. The Esslingen vineyards invite you for a leisurely stroll and then you can finish the evening in the DICK Areal.

Can you eat out well in Esslingen? Do you want to tell us your favorite places?

You can eat very well! My favorite places is L'Osteria beim Schelztor. But also DockSeven by the train station is highly recommended. As already mentioned you will find everything your heart desires in the DICK Areal.

Is the nightlife in Esslingen good? What is the best way to party?

The only option to party in Esslingen is Disco ONE, which I do not like. Otherwise there are some student parties over the course of the semester that you should definitely visit.

Otherwise you can easily take the train and go to Stuttgart, there are many nightlife offerings there.
