Edinburgh is a busy city. There's always something to do. It's also beautiful and easy to walk around.
What is the student lifestyle like in Edinburgh?
There are lots of bars in Edinburgh. Also lots of clubs which do student nights with cheap entry and drinks.
How much does it cost to live in Edinburgh?
It is expensive. A flat to rent can be up to £500-£600 a month with bills on top. Supermarkets like asda and tesco will give you a cheap option for food shopping with their own brands. However drinks can be expensive
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Edinburgh? Is there any advice you can give?
No there are lots of flats up for rent but they go very quick. Lots of different websites to use, just google 'flats in Edinburgh'
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is varied. Typical Scottish food includes, fish and chips, haggis, turnips, potatoes, deep fried mars bars. However, there are lots of different kinds of restaurants, such as Chinese, Indian, Mexican, Spanish, Italian...
What places would you recommend visiting in Edinburgh?
Edinburgh castle, Scottish parliament, Mary kings close, dynamic earth.

Is it good to eat out in Edinburgh? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes lots of places to eat. George st is very good for restaurants but quite pricey.
Is the nightlife good in Edinburgh? Where is good to go?
Yes. Again George street for some more upmarket clubs, or hive or cab vol for something a bit more relaxed.
What advice would you give future students heading to Edinburgh?
Enjoy it and take in all you can. Make the most of it.
