25 year old Masters student looking for a roof over her head in Brussels

Hey!

My name is Philène. I'm Dutch born, Aruban grown and a nomad by nature. I'm studying a Masters in Humanitarian Action and, starting September, I've got an internship placement with ECHO in Brussels.

I'm easygoing, enjoy cooking (with others) and like to go exploring. I enjoy the very occasional good party, but I'm more of a "let's get some beers and hang out" type of person.

I am used to shared accomodation and am tidy enough, but I'm passed the stage of student corridors with weekly house parties. I'm looking for something more homely right now.

As for the kind of roommates I'm looking for:

- I myself am relatively neat in a chaotic way, although I generally try to keep the common areas more organized than I would keep my own room. I'd like my roommate to be someone I can share that responsibility with.

- I am not vegetarian or vegan, but if you are, that's great for you and I would enjoy teaming up for dinner.

- I'm pretty used to living with smokers, so it's no problem if you are, but it would be nice if you could go outside for that, or use the extractor hood.

- I think friends, family, significant others, etc. should always be welcome, since we would be sharing a "home," and not just a roof over our heads (despite the title of my seach). Just, you know, communicate with me before inviting a bunch of people over. I'd do the same. 

- Same goes for the occasional get-together and party at home: it should be possible. As long as we can talk about it, give one another a heads up and respect each others wishes, it should all be fine. If you are looking to throw a party every weekend at home, however, you might want to keep looking for someone to share with ;)

In short: someone friendly with common sense and a healthy dose of craziness would make a great roommate.
