Dortmund is a great place to live if you've retired. Or if you travel all over the Europe a lot - Dortmund is big transportation hub and one can get to any place of Europe fast, convenient and cheap. Otherwise, don't liver there.
What is the student lifestyle like in Dortmund?
Boring.
How much does it cost to live in Dortmund?
Dortmund is pretty cheap and student friendly.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Dortmund? Is there any advice you can give?
It is very difficult to find a place so one should start looking for a place to stay 2 months ahead. Also, it's almost impossible to find place if you don't speak German.

No special food.
