What is it like to live in Dijon? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Dijon is a nice city, not too small not too big. The monuments are lovely and you have several things to discover in the city. One of the most inconvenience of Dijon is the fog, that can be in the city for a long time. Except that, it's a nice place to live.

What is the student lifestyle like in Dijon?

Depend on what school you are in. In engenering school you won't have time to get bored! You have every thing of a city, cinemas, sports, campus events, cultural events such as theatre, opera, and much more!

How much does it cost to live in Dijon?

It depend on your way of life but it's between expensif and okay. Accomodation can be expensif but for the rest it's like the average of France.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Dijon? Is there any advice you can give?

can be a bit difficult if you try to late but you'l lways find something that suits to you!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It's like French food, so it's delicious! Of course, don't foret you are in Bourgondy, so if you like wine, you can't be in a better place! (there are also good places to drink a beer don't worry!)

What places would you recommend visiting in Dijon?

Museum, park, the owl route, lake, countryside and its vineyard (espacially in autumn),

Is it good to eat out in Dijon? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

yes it's nice, you can find lot's of different types of restaurant and for every budget. One of my favorite spot is "L'EPICERIE ET COMPAGNIE" on the "Emile ZOLA place", it's lovely and it's really really good.

Is the nightlife good in Dijon? Where is good to go?

Parties are really cool, usually in pub, but there are also disco, bigger than the pub. I like going in pub where there is also a dance area, it's more friendly. You just have to chose!

What advice would you give future students heading to Dijon?

Enjoy the food, don't put on you too muche pressure, take it easy, and have good time in Dijon!
