Why did you choose to go to Dijon, France?

I chose Dijon because I wanted to live the Erasmus experience in a small city and near Paris. And also I found out that are a lot of international students here so it will be easier for me to integrate with non-French people.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I will stay here just a semester.

What is the student lifestyle like in Dijon?

Well... until now was very ok and we went to parties, meeting, etc... but nooow... I am studying for an horrible exam.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Dijon to other students?

Actually, I am a student at University of Burgundy. Of course, I recommend the university and also the city. The teachers are great, they are interested in international students, they understand their classes and their explanations.

The city is lovely. La chouette is all around us and all students love it.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Dijon?

No, I am staying in a dorm from Crous, so the university found me this place.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

French language it is not so complicated if you have a base and you speak daily in French.

Yes, there is a French course for Erasmus students, but you have to pay for it (like 60 eur). The good part is that you gain 3 ECTS with this course.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Dijon from your city?

By plane to Paris and then by train.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Dijon?

Chat Noir or Salsapelpa.
