The life in Dammam is kind of usually busy. The city itself is newly developed. Most of residences here are only living here for their work or study places.

What is the student lifestyle like in Dammam?

A normal day would start by going to school, getting back at evening to end up with assignments. Though, at weekends and holidays, there are many nice restaurants, malls, public parks and sea fronts to visit. Bahrain is also so near and could be visited in a long weekend or holidays.

How much does it cost to live in Dammam?

As a general statement a salary of 4000 riyal (about 800€) is considered a good to afford living in Dammam for one person.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Dammam? Is there any advice you can give?

It is a bit difficult. As for girls, there are only few hostels to live in otherwise a normal apartment is another but not preferred option. Boys would find better chances but the places specified for them are usually out of the city center.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The traditional dishes are mostly made of meat and rice. Some of their best are: Mandi i. e. grilled meat with rice cooked with tomato and cinnamon, and Bukhari i. e. grilled chicken with rice and carrot.

What places would you recommend visiting in Dammam?

For foreigner, the heritage village is a nice place to visit. For leisure, there is AlMurjan island.

Is it good to eat out in Dammam? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is easily to find a place to eat out in Dammam. Some of the best in my opinion are: Copper Shandi (Indian restaurant), UNO (American) and Burger Fuel (burger restaurant).

Is the nightlife good in Dammam? Where is good to go?

There is not actually a "nightlife" in Dammam. Though in weekends and holidays, malls and sea fronts are usually filled up to late night.
