I recommend to find an apartment in the zone "Quattromiglia" or "Borromeo", that are the zone where usually the students live. In these two zones you can find a lot of supermarkets, pub, restaurant, pizzerie, and everything you need. Facebook groups can also help you to look for an house.

Cosenza is the perfect city for students. The university is very good and people try always to help you. There are a lot of activities organized by the university. For example there is a racing department (named Unical Reparto Corse) where every year the students make a racing car to partecipate in different competitions. This organization is amazing and if you are studying engineering I think that is a good opportunities for your future.
