Young professional moving to Copenhagen on or before 1/9/2014

I will be starting a job on the 1st of September, 2014 in Copenhagen and am looking for a place to stay as I get settled. Although I say it should be temporary, I would like to find something comfortable enough so that there won't be any rush to move out, possibly even for 6-12 months. My partner lives in Sweden so I will be away most weekends. My job provides me with home internet and a generous supply of coffee at home, so both of those would be shared with the roommate.

I am an American male who gets along fine with most types of people and have always had a good relationship with roommates in the past. A shared flat with a private room is what I am looking for. I would prefer my own bathroom but would be fine sharing one if needed. Nice kitchen, common area, and balcony are preferred but not required.
