29 year old student is looking for a nice stay during internship in Copenhagen

Hey,
I am Nico, 29 years old and student at a German university. As part of my Public Health studies, I come to Copenhagen for a six-month internship. My first day at work is September 2nd. I am still looking for a furnished room for my stay. So who has room for an uncomplicated student who works for a healthcare company for 6 months and wants to get to know all the facets, Copenhagen has to offer, in his free time?
I love biking (in Copenhagen this is certainly an advantage), go swimming and generally like to be outdoors and spending time with friends. I am also interested in the Danish language and culture. Currently I only speak English and German.
I hope that my search will be successful by the end of August at the latest :)
