Stella Polaris Copenhagen

The introduction

Hello everyone, I hope, that you are all doing just fine!

In this article I want to tell you about this event in Copenhagen, which I had a chance to attendto and had a pretty good time there, I must say, though I didn’t think , that it would be that good. Why? I can not really answer that question, because I don’t really have an answer for it.

Stella Polaris Copenhagen

Well, this event was called Stella Polaris and it’s probably “the biggest outdoor chill-out event” in the world. To be honest, I haven’t heard a “chill-out event” anywhere, so that it must be something new, I guess.

To tell you the truth, I heard about this Stella Polaris event from the facebook events, which were occasionally popping out on my facebook web page, and finally I paid some attention to it and clicked on it and saw this event, that was just nearby my accommodation in Copenhagen and it was free of charge, too, so that everyone could just go and hang out there in Frederiksberg gardens and it was not going to end until the late in the evening or something like that, so that it was a great chance to go there and have some fun, and, besides, live music is always differentand with the people around, you just don’t feel that there’s anything else around in the world.

Stella Polaris Copenhagen

Stella Polaris is  a free event, which takes place annually in the beginning of August.  And I was pretty lucky to be there at that time of the year, because I didn’t have it in my plans to actually stay that long in Copenhagen, rather, I was going to go to the Netherlands and, hence, I wouldn’t be there in Denmark for the Stella Polaris. And the thing was, that I didn’t even know, that such kind of thing existed, after all. I just found that out through facebook events and then I decided to have a look at it. However, I still didn’t know, whether I was going to be able to go there or not, because I usually went to other  places and museums, which were closing just pretty soon and then I was so tired of walking, that I just wanted to go home and rest. But, fortunately, this event was just on my way home, so that I could have a glance there and decide, whether I wanted to stay there and listen to some music or not.

Well, when I got somewhere nearby, it was almost 8 p.m. or something like that and first of all, I wanted to visit the Copenhagen zoo, which was just near the Frederiksberg gardens, so that I walked and walked and finally, I was there, somewhere and then I saw this sign of zoo and went in. I showed them my Copenhagen Card and I was free to go inside, however, they told me, that they were closing in  15 minutes and I wouldn’t have much time there.
