28 year old girl with a small size dog is looking for accommodation in Cologne

hello, 

I am a 28 year old, PhD student, from Cyprus. I am an open kind of person, that adapts quickly to new environments. 

Due to my studies i am spending most of my time at the university. 

I moved to Germany for my PhD with my small size dog. 

My dog is 8 years old, small (10 kg), calm and friendly with humans and other animals.

Due to my studies, we have been traveling a lot and his behavior was perfect in every situation. He never scratches or chews on anything in the house, and he never barks through the night. 

I am looking for a place to stay, preferentially alone, but if I having a roommate that likes my dog doesn't sound that bad. 

I don't care about the size of the place, it can be a 1 bedroom apartment or even a studio.
