23 yr old PhD student looking for accommodation near Linder Hoehe, Cologne

Dear Reader,
I am Prasanna from India. I just finished my Masters in Aerospace Engineering at TU Delft, Netherlands and I am planning to start my PhD at German Aerospace Centre (DLR) ,at Linder Hoehe, Cologne from February 1. The PhD will be for three years and I am being funded by DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship for my research during the period. I will start my PhD from February 1 and I am looking for a room. I understand that the time period for the request is short but if its possible to have a little later too I would manage my initial days in a hostel. Kindly let me know if the room is available. Many thanks in advance.
P.S: I can speak a little German as well since I was in Germany for most times of my Masters study.
