Work While You Travel In Canada

My name is Ben Land, a Franchisee of McDonald's Restaurants in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada. We are looking to hire 5-10 students under the International Experience Program of Canada.

International Experience Canada (IEC) manages Canada's agreements with different countries around the world. These arrangements and agreements make it easier for a student to obtain a work permit to "travel and work" in Canada for up to one year.

Work permits under IEC are available to young people aged 18-30 who are from one of the countries that have a bilateral reciprocal youth mobility arrangement or agreement with Canada. Your country is one of the countries that has agreement with Canada.

If you have students at your school or in your circle of contacts who would like to gain valuable knowledge and experience in Food Services & Hospitality or Retail Management while travelling to Canada at the same time, we would like to assist. 

We will provide a job offer and the documents required to process their work permit; we will assist them in their application, we will offer $13.00 per hour Canadian Funds; and we offer long term employment incentives (paid at end of term so they have money when they return). Additionally, we provide accommodation assistance (reduced rent) in our own full service staff housing, and a return flight home PAID if they remain in our employ during their full term.

Furthermore, we will be flexible with scheduling if the student desires some time off to travel and explore Canada. All in all, it can become a great experience for the student and assistive for us as our region has low unemployment. 

If there is a greater interest than 5-10 students, we can also make arrangements with other owner operators in need of assistance and offering the same offers as us. And I am also personally prepared to come in person to validate the sincerity providing the interest is sufficient.
