It's a good town, lots of shops and restaraunts and places to go. A lovely big park to visit - lovely when it's sunny and events on sometimes.

What is the student lifestyle like in Colchester?

It's fun. It's easy to get to other places around Colchester with loads of places to visit via train or bus. There are 2 train stations in Colchester.

How much does it cost to live in Colchester?

It depends where you live or where you go as to how much but you don't have to spend ridiculous amounts to live comfortably.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Colchester? Is there any advice you can give?

It shouldn't be too difficult to find somewhere to stay or live. I would advise contacting the university or tourist desks for help with this.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great, there are lots of Chinese, Indian, Thai and Italian restaraunts in Colchester so you will never go hungry. My favourite is spaghetti bolognese or a Roast dinner.

What places would you recommend visiting in Colchester?

The Colchester castle is a must!

The Colchester Zoo is amazing and one of my favourite places to go. You can feed the elephants and giraffes.

Is it good to eat out in Colchester? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Nando's is amazing for chicken. Or Zizzi's, Prezzo, Ask, Strada are all great Italian restaurants and my favourite.

Toby's Carvery is amazing for a traditional roast dinner too, it is outside of Colchester town in Stanway.
