What is it like to live in Coimbatore? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

I would recommend the outskirts of Coimbatore for trecking and tourism a maximum of 2 days. If you want to do parties more and want to enjoy entertainment I wouldn't recommend it. It is more of a peaceful place to live (mainly the outskirts).

What is the student lifestyle like in Coimbatore?

It is good place to get education. I have studied at amrita college for my bachelor's degree. It's a more disciplined and strict college with good education , moral values.

How much does it cost to live in Coimbatore?

If you know the language of Tamil then it is easier to live and roam around as they prefer to speak in their native language mostly.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

my favorite is the vathakollambu dish which we mix with rice and have it. I would recommend kottuparrota.
