We are looking for delegate sales and marketing executive to join our growing team. This is a new role, the successful candidate will be responsible for delegate sales and new business development, identifying and building relationships with potential clients across Go.Konnect’s portfolio of events.

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales and Marketing Executive to join our new office in Cluj-Napoca. We are looking for ambitious, self-motivated people who can inspire those around them and be responsible for their own performance, whilst always wanting to grow and achieve more.

The Sales & Marketing Executive will be responsible for delegate acquisition of our international events. You will be selling on multiple events over the course of the year with an expectation to grow revenue from a base of existing clients, but we also need someone who has the ability and drive to source new business for themselves.

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate acquisition of senior level decision makers from fortune 1000 organisations

  • Identifying and qualifying prospects

  • Predominantly phone based position- delivering well researched, managing the sales from initial contact with an executive through to delivery of product

  • Maintain close liaison with the marketing, production and operations teams in order to ensure the delivery of successful customer focused events

  • Conduct monthly revenue forecasts, sales reports and manage a sales pipeline

  • Taking ownership of the delegate sales process, including building and managing a pipeline and reporting on all activities

  • Working with marketing to grow databases for our portfolio of events

  • Working with the marketing team to coordinate and manage VIP programmes for selected events

Desired Skills and Experience

Essential

  • A desire to have complete control over your earning potential

  • Personal drive, highly motivated, sales driven, tenacious and energetic

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to converse at Director/CEO level (both verbally and in writing)

  • You should be proficient in Word, Excel, Powerpoint and CRM systems

  • You should have a basic understanding of digital marketing: SEO, social media and PR

  • Have excellent written and spoken English

  • Ability to travel internationally for different events

Desirable

  • Experience in B2B conference delegate sales

  • Highly effective at managing a number of projects at the same time

  • Experience of researching and building a database of new contacts

  • 1 years + proven track-record in sales

  • Experience in an outbound, phone-based sales environment
