What is it like to live in Ciudadela? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Ciutadella is a small city where you can go if you want peace and be quiet. It's full of aristocracy palaces. You can walk through the narrows and magician streets. In summer you have lots of unspoilt beaches and coves with blue clear sea. In June, 23th and 24th, it takes place the local fiestas, Sant Joan, where horses with their riders dance and stand with two paws.
What is the student lifestyle like in Ciudadela?
In winter is a little boring, since there is a cinema with two auditoriums, several night clubs, or pubs.
How much does it cost to live in Ciudadela?
It's expensive because is an island, and that means that everything comes by plane or ship.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Gastronomy is very varied, many dishes can be tried such as, lobster, 'oliaigu', 'carabassó ple', 'ensaimada', cheese, 'perol as forn', 'calamars plens'....
What places would you recommend visiting in Ciudadela?
Es born, the old town, the harbour, the cathedral..
Is it good to eat out in Ciudadela? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
there are many restaurants that offer good food and good prices
What advice would you give future students heading to Ciudadela?
if they seek party, they don't have to go to Menorca
