21 year old American student searching accommodations in Chieti

I'm a 21 year old American student searching for reasonable accommodation in Chieti for when I arrive. I'll be attending Universita degli Studi "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti-Pescara from September 3rd-December 17th, but I'll need the accommodations for about a week before and a week after that. I live with roommates here in the United States and we all get along well, we never have much issues. In terms of the types of roommates I'm searching for in Italy, I won't know anyone upon my arrival, so I'm hoping to become friends with my housemates and hopefully have them show me the ins and outs of the city. I don't have many requirements, I simply want someone that's easygoing and likes to have a good time.
