Trip in the Sweden's nothern part: Lappland

I have been in Lappland during one week during febrary 2017 with 30 students of Chalmers University! During the journey, a lot of student from different city of Sweden have joined us in the bus for the same trip! Then, after 17h in a bus during the night (around 3h of sleep) with around 70 students, we arrive at Kiruna in Lappland and, off course, we have got a fresh air! First, we start directly when we arrived in the morning by a snowmobile and sled dog session! It was amazing! The guide was quiet afraid about the spanish driver on the snowmobile but no accident have occured! We were drifting on the frozen snow with the beautiful landscapes of Lappland! Atferoon, walking tour with the guide with some history about Lappland and Kiruna! We visited durning one hour the enormous mine of Kiruna!

The day after, departure from a visit tour of the icehostels during the morning. Afternoon, we have met a farm of reindeer owned by a Sami family! So cude this animal! We have tasted a strange beverage made with meet of reindeer. After the sunset, that meens in Lapplan at around 15h, we took the bus in the direction of Abisko, small town next to the Norvegian border. There is the second deepest lake next to this place (300m of depth)! We bought some meat for a BBQ during the night in a teepee under the notherlight! But the only light we saw it just the light of the moon through the clouds! At least, there were a really nice admosphere with all the Dutch, Spanish, French and German!

Unfortunately, the day after, I have got sick because the meat wasn't that warm! Then the eramus team has been to Norway, just after the border. I was becoming better throughout the day! I even did a walking tour on the frozen lake during 4 hours! Then I met my friend in the evening and we did a crazy things, a sauna session at around 10pm next to the lake with 12 deg outside! It was very cold and difficult to walk with the darkness in bikini! But very funny!

The last day, friday, we did a walking tour under the snow, and we left Abisko just before a storm came from Norway, perfect timer! And finally, during the night of the return trip, we saw the notherlight from the bus! We were crazy and so happy to see this amazing physical phenomena! It was as a green sail which was waying in the sky! Then, we arrived on saturday night at Gothenburg completely exhausted! Here is some photos of the Lappland trip!
