Why did you choose to go to Cesena, Italy?

It was the only erasmus partner university of my university. Since I wanted to make Erasmus, doesn't matter where, I had to go to Cesena.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

It was for 6 months and I took for each month 400 euro. However, to be honest, that is nothing enough!

What is the student lifestyle like in Cesena?

It has a relax lifestyle. Since the city is small, you don't feel the chaos of a big city. You can reach to the university by walking or by bike from almost every point of the city.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Cesena to other students?

I can recommend it to the ones who already likes to work and doesn't like the night life so much. Because for the ones that really love to go out and hang in parties, Cesena is not the best choice.

What is the food like?

I love Italian cuisine! They have delicious pizza restaurants. Of course many other perfect meals.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Cesena?

I found my home before I arrive to there with the help of one company. I was sharing it with people and paying enough good.

How much does it cost to live in Cesena?

I really don't know how much I spent totally or monthly, but for sure it was more than twice of Erasmus scholarship!

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

There is language course for foreign in the beginning. And language is easy if you are already latin origin. Otherwise better to know that language a little bit before you go there. They speak so fast!

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Cesena from your city?

I live in İzmir İn Turkey. From here to Bologna there are flights but not cheap. However, if you think you can handle with language, you can fly to Rome and later to Cesena by train. It is cheaper.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Cesena?

Teatro Verdi! That was the place I was going to good parties.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Cesena?

All pizzerias!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

All city is gorgeous. It is old and antique. You should see the city center first!

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Cesena in the future?

No matter where you are, Enjoy Erasmus! Meet people! Have new friends! Learn the language and culture! Don't care if you are in a small city or big one!
