What is it like to live in Catanzaro? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

The city is nice, quite big and it starts from the hills and goes to the sea. It's a quite city and it's wanderful in the night where the guys are quite free to do all they want!

What is the student lifestyle like in Catanzaro?

They make private parties usually, they go to the sea or to the mountains, we have a noce big green park and there is some pub and place also for students.

How much does it cost to live in Catanzaro?

It's not so expensive: pizza start from 3. 50€, beer around 4€.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Catanzaro? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not hard and you can use Internet to search or you can check at university or local news ( as "pole position" ). Or you can ask by local people.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

I love the food in south of Italy, everything is good and it's a bit heavy, i like many dishes and typicall products

What places would you recommend visiting in Catanzaro?

The biodiversity park, the sea, the Sila ( calabrian mountains), the historical center, the local public market, Tropea Soverato Pizzo amazing places around Catanzaro.

Is it good to eat out in Catanzaro? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

I don't have any favourite place but you can eat good food almost everywhere, but maybe there is one little old place in the city center where you can eat a fantastic tipicall food: "a putica da Pepè" vicolo 1 piazza roma, Cz center.

Is the nightlife good in Catanzaro? Where is good to go?

There are 3 discos, some pub, cafes, winebar and bars where you can spend a nice night. Anyway the clima is good so you can also walk and stay out.

What advice would you give future students heading to Catanzaro?

Enjoy the people and the city.
