What was it like to live in the city of Cartagena? Do you recommend it? How is the city?

Yes, Cartagena is a small city with many places to visit and especially the port, I loved it and for working out at night it's really the best place.

How is the student life in Cartagena?

I only stayed in Cartagena for a month, I hear there are parties for the students; and outings, and all kinds of things and what's more there are Spanish classes for Erasmus students and they are free and have all the levels, I took the first level with a mix of students from many countries, with our teacher Juan Marie, it was wonderful, I liked this course very much.

What is the cost of living in Cartagena?

Good, it's not expensive, you can live well on scholarships.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Cartagena? Do you have any advice?

I found accommodation on the website of the University of Cartagena, I signed up and contacted the owner by email, it's better to look for housing with a roommate, it's cheaper before arrival, and it's better to look for housing near the university.

How is food in the city? What are your favorite dishes?

I am muslim, I didn't go to restaurants because the dishes have meat, but according to my friends of other religions the food is good.

What places do you recommend to see in Cartagena?

There are several, the port, museums and also tours of the city by boat and by bus.

There is the commercial center, where there are nice things and clothing of all brands.

What advice would you give to future Erasmus students in Cartagena?

In Cartagena you feel at home, the people are nice and life is cheap. For me students who get the opportunity to study here are the luckiest, I advise you to search for housing before renting for a year and to search especially for roommates, because if you love quiet like me, it's difficult to live with people who party and invite their friends, so you must indicate if you like it quiet and are serious or like to always be active depending on your character and search well because the location is cheap, with roommates it's almost 180 euros a month with bills.
