Why did you choose to go to Cartagena, Spain?

I really wanted to learn spanish language and for sure really important for me is good weather! Sounth of Spain is the best!

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

Im here one half year. My parents sends my every month 150 € + 400€ money from Erasmus progamm. And this is enough for live here and a little travel. Cartagena is really cheap.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cartagena?

Lifestyle is different. Depends of person. Here is place for party, relax, sport... what you want. ESN organises a lot of events. Cartagena has a lot of festivals, party and the most important - students organise a lot of meetings! Beautiful place! Great fun! The best is, of course, time during the summer semester!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Cartagena to other students?

Yes! Yes! Yes! I chose Cartagena to my next Erasmus again!

What is the food like?

I like spanish food but not too much; ) you should try Sangria in good place and tapas in 'La uva' of course; )

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Cartagena?

I found accommondation really fast. My first flat this was cost around 200€ with bills included in very good localization but unfortunately i had to change my flat (prolems with flatmates). And now i pay 150€ and flat is really good too.

How much does it cost to live in Cartagena?

Around 450-500 euro without collect the money.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Spanish language is difficult for me. On the University is a lot of courses.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Cartagena from your city?

ESN trips or rent a car with friends; )

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Cartagena?

Tantalo and Casablasa; )

Tapas and beer with friends La uva or Chaplin; )

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Cartagena?

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Cartagena in the future?

Choose cheap flat in good localization! With erasmus students! Enjoy, learn spanish before go to Spain; ) but don't worry English is enough. Use every second as good as it is possible!
