Why did you choose to go to Cannes, France?

I wanted to go to Cannes because I wanted to enjoy the nice weather and the lovely beach.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

4 Months

I get €500 each month from the hotel where I work and I also receive a scholarship of €400 each month.

I live in the hotel I work so I do not have to pay any rent.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cannes?

I am Lucky to have a classmate here because there are not a lot of people to meet here.

Cannes is small but you can go to Nice. It is much bigger there and there are more younger people.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Cannes to other students?

I do not go to the University of Cannes so I can not recommend it.

What is the food like?

You have many restaurants here where you can have a menu for €20 and it is not bad at all!

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Cannes?

No I got an accommodation with my internship.

How much does it cost to live in Cannes?

For me it is free.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I can already speak a little French but the people here speak very fast so it takes a while to understand them.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Cannes from your city?

With the plane.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Cannes?

It is nice to have a drink in le Cirque.

Find someone to contact with before you go here or else you could be lonely.
