Campinas is a huge city and the University is located in a "small city" inside it and you can find everything you need in this part of town. The commodity of a big city with the tranquility of country side.

What is the student lifestyle like in Campinas?

It is fun and with lots of things to do inside and outside the university

How much does it cost to live in Campinas?

It costs a lot, but you can eat in the university restaurants that are good and cheap and also the university parties are cheap, you can always find an alternative way

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Campinas? Is there any advice you can give?

No, but the price around the university are high, if you want something cheaper you need to go a bit far away

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It is ok, the food is considered good for the price you pay inside the university. Outside you can find amazing bars and pubs with delicious food but it costs a bit more. My favorite is the famous coxinha from Estação Barão bar.

What places would you recommend visiting in Campinas?

For a Sunday morning and if you wanna go somewhere different than the campus I suggest going to Taquaral park, Campinas has a lot of shopping centers as well where people normally hang out and some fun clubs as well.

Is it good to eat out in Campinas? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Yes, but as I said it is expensive. I recommend Estação Barão.

Is the nightlife good in Campinas? Where is good to go?

Yes, around campus you can find a lot of places as Bar do Zé and Echos bar that are amazing.

What advice would you give future students heading to Campinas?

Enjoy the maximum you can the university programs and events, parties and the life in Barão Geraldo itself.
