What is it like to live in Camerino? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
Camerino is a very small city, that's why there are not a lot of partys and dance clubs. But it is so full of students that you end knowing everybody and to live as a huge big family. Some parties and activities are organized during the year. There is a beautiful theatre and an academy of dance and painting that is more or less free for students.
What is the student lifestyle like in Camerino?
In Camerino you have a lot of free time, and you can enjoy the sorroundings or the university life style hanging out in the city; there is a huge library that is always full of students. Moreover, there is also a sport club fully furnished that is quite beautiful. The student life is quiet, because you do not have many places where to go. But the city is full of student so you will find your family there.
How much does it cost to live in Camerino?
It does not cost a lot. In general, the rent for an apartment is about 180 euros, not including the utilities. There are a lot of cheap supermarkets, like Eurospin.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Camerino? Is there any advice you can give?
No, it is not. Moreover, there are a lot of student houses for Erasmus student. It would be perfect to come with other friends and get 1 apartment for everybody.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is wonderfull and amazing. EVERYTHING is so good and tasty!
What places would you recommend visiting in Camerino?
The city is small so you can see everything in 1 day. But you always have places to go in the sorroundings.
Is it good to eat out in Camerino? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Yes, it is. And there are places a bit expensive, but also others really cheap. You can get a pizza for 5 euros, and what a pizza!
Is the nightlife good in Camerino? Where is good to go?
The nightlife is actually not that good, there are some bars into the city. People go out mainly on thursday, while the rest of the days it is a bit in silence.
What advice would you give future students heading to Camerino?
I will strongly recommend this place to people who love the nature and who love to go hiking or jogging, but if you are looking only for nightlife that's not the right place for you.
