The Irish House
My name is Sanaika Jaiswal and I am a resident of Calcutta, India. Being brought up in this city, I have had the chance of trying and testing each place myself. So, here I am writing about one of the place I absolutely loved.
The Irish House is a typical Irish and celtic designed pub which opened in calcutta a few years ago. It is generally full on weekends and doesn't allow people under 21 years of age to stay inside after 4pm.
The Ambience
It has a very vibrant ambience. The crowd is always decent and upbeat due to the strict age restrictions. The lighting makes the ambience optimal for night time and gives you the feel of a proper Irish pub. The music is also selective and good.
The Food
Its mouth watering. Each and every dish is very delicately prepared and presented. there is never a problem with the food quality and are mostly served in a short span. They have a variety of dishes available, however its mostly fast food. Apart from that, they serve both cocktails and mocktails with a lot of creativity in their presentation.
The Service
The staff are friendly and help you through the menu very properly. Theyre fast and efficient. However on the weekends since there are a lot of people, they tend to mix up orders, so you have to be careful with making it very clear as to what you want.
