What is it like to live in Cagliari? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

To live in Cagliari is like to live always in summer. The weather is temperate all year long and is possible to swim in the sea until the end of october. Since the city is in the middle of Mediterranean Sea, Cagliari is often full of tourist from several part of Europe and indeed, the world.

What is the student lifestyle like in Cagliari?

Cagliari is a small City. But there is a lot of things to do if you are a student. The city center is full of nice and cheap club where you can have a beer or something else, 7 days a week. We have different sport infrastructures, by the beach and by the green parks of the city.

How much does it cost to live in Cagliari?

The medium rent payment is about 250 euros per month. The transport are not so cheap but there are a lot of facilitations for students.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The food is great. You can find the tipical Sardinian cuisine but also the international one. I suggest "malloreddus alla campidanese", a tipical hand-made kind of short-pasta, seasoned with meat sauce. The meat it's awesome: I suggest roasted lamb or pork. In the end, obvioulsy the "sebada", an hand-made fried desert with cheese and honey inside. You are going to love everything!

In the ancient district of "La Marina" nearby the port, there are a lot of typical Sardinian restaurant where you can have a good price for lunch and dinner too. For a good cheap pizza I suggest "Pizza Ajo" that is located in Pirri, 10 minutes by car from Cagliari.
