The city is great. I recommend it to everybody. The beach is beautiful, the main street is full of shops, restaurants and bars, and people are nice.

What is the student lifestyle like in Burgas?

This is the best! We go out every day somewhere, the student community is great and the city gives a lot of opportunities to the students.

How much does it cost to live in Burgas?

It's really cheap. The hotel is expensive, but everything else is cheap. You can afford it from the scholarship, but if you want to do something every night as a normal student should, you have to prepare more money. A bottle of vodka is 8 leva.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Burgas? Is there any advice you can give?

Not difficult, but except of hotels there are no good accommodations. They are dirty, and old, but liveable.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

The Chinese place is the best. It is cheap and there are large portions, you must try it if you are there. The Happy Sushi is the another great place. If you just want to drink a beer every place is good, but the service is often slow and rude. Also, it can be hard to find someone who speaks English.

Which places would you recommend visiting in Burgas?

The sea and the main street. Except for these two the city is a little empty.

Is it good to eat out in Burgas? Can you tell us your favourite places?

This is our only opportunity, there is no kitchen facilites in the hotel. Hong-Kong Chinese restaurant and Happy Sushi are the best. And of course, Ratauti pancakes.

Is the nightlife like in Burgas? Where is ideal club or pub to go?

The nightlife is poor. There isnt any good places to party. Maybe the Plazza.

What advice would you give future students visiting Burgas?

Have fun!
