The lake is a prominent attraction in the southwestern regions of Turkey.
The location of Sagalasson in the city of Aglasun is one of the most important historical tourist destinations in southwestern Turkey, and is located on Akdag Mountain at an altitude of 1450-1700 meters, and away from Burdur 30 km. The site of Sagalasson was named after Alexander the Great, and acquires a special place because it represents the capital of Pisidia in ancient Greece. Known for textiles, perfumery and copper processing, it is also one of the most important areas in dairy breeding and production.
