When it comes to shisha, leave it to the experts aka us the middle easterns. If you ever wanted to know the best shisha in town, just ask any of your middle eastern friends, if they don't know they aren't truly middle eastern man! But seriously we have a radar when it comes to good shisha and so trust us on this one. It was right after a midterm and so I decided to give myself a little break, we went out all of us together to Habibi shisha bar, it was actually an accident because we were planning on going somewhere else but we got out of the house quite late and this was the only place that was open until 1 am and also served shishas.

I wouldn't get my hopes up for this place because it really wasn't that good, okay I know I just gave it the most straight forward review ever but let's go through it step by step, shall we?

Okay the atomsphere has got this eerie feeling to it which I totally dug, i mean the lighting was minimal, the seating spaces were comfortable even though they were crammed up a bit and I generally liked the vibe it gave. They had a traditional decor and arabic music was playing all around, which made me feel like I was back in Malaysia in an arabic restaurant.

So what to expect from a not so typical yet a typical arabic atomsphere, first of all their staff isn't so nice. Okay I mean we went late and they were probably tired but I don't think that's still a good enough excuse to be so nonchalant and i don't know not welcoming I guess? anyhow it wasn't anything major, it's just something that came to mind.

The menu includes shishas and drinks, lots of cocktails and every other alcohol ever; I guess not so middle eastern after all am I right?? The drinks were slightly expensive but we ordered a bunch of cocktails anyway; the cocktails were fine and I wouldn't say they were too good but they weren't bad either. Just normal and they cost about 1500 forints; in normal bars it costs like 3 euros or so.

Now the shisha, we ordered grape mint and started smoking it; it was alright at first, maybe even good but after a little while, i would say 20 minutes or so it kept burning and it started to hurt our throats so we asked them to change the coal; then the same thing happened again and so we got a new one, which was the exact same. At other places we could smoke for an hour or so straight but here?? Not so much. I'd say this place is worth going to once or maximum twice but for it to become a regular spot? I don't think so. Oh also the shisha cost like 2000 forints.

Hope you find this piece useful

Cheers.
