Brussels is very multi-cultural and has a lot of amazing sites to see so I would definitely recommend it.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brussels?

There is an extremely active student lifestyle in Brussels as there are so many Universities in the city centre and all around therefore there's actual student towns with bars and clubs that always have 2 for 1 deals and cheaper nights.

How much does it cost to live in Brussels?

Living in terms of rent is around 400€ upwards for your own one bed studio which I find is fairly decent to pay per month. Beer is cheap and food is alright although if you want good food you will have to pay a little more.

I have never had to look for accommodation so can't help in that regard im afraid but there's loads of online websites for it.

Food is amazing, best dishes are; moules mariniere, boulettes liégeoise, steak frites, waterzooi, vol-au-vent, stoemp and so on!

What places would you recommend visiting in Brussels?

Always visit la Grande Place and the EU institutions as well as the Royal Palace but also Antwerp, Ghent, the many beaches and Brugge.

Kipkot, La Beccase, The Lodge, Meet Meat etc

Is the nightlife good in Brussels? Where is good to go?

Nightlife is one of the best so many choices and so many people. Louise Gallery (Bloody Louis), Chez Ginette, Le Waff, El Cafe, Le Tavernier, Jeux D'Hiver, Mirano etc.

What advice would you give future students heading to Brussels?

Have a blast and don't worry about speaking French or Flemish as everyone speaks English basically.
