Why did you choose to go to Brussels, Belgium?

I have collaboration with my coadvisor at Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences (RBINS).

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

5 months, I received the grant for the total of 6000 euros.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?

Yes.

What is the food like?

The food is quite normal like other part of Europe, you can find several kind of food here: sandwich, pizza, kebab, etc.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brussels?

No, my colleague here in Brussels help me find the accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Brussels?

About 1000-1200 euros per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, most people can speak English well but it will be better if you know French or Dutch.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?

The MOBIB card include all means of transportation with the same rate, it will be cheaper if you buy for 10 trips.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brussels?

Grand Place and its neighborhood is a nice place to night out.

Many restaurants near Grand Place are very nice.
