What is it like to live in Brussels? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Brussels is very cosmopolitan.
On the street where I live now, its full of newly café, bar and multiracial restaurants.
( rue du marché au charbon )

It has turn into a pedestrian car free zone.
People enjoy walking freely on the road, which soon will turn into park like open district, where people can sit and hang out.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brussels?

I can only speak about the area I live in, it's great for student cause it's very close to all transportation and more importantly, just because one is a student , they can also enjoy night out during weekend, which is door steps away and no need night buses or taxi to get home.

How much does it cost to live in Brussels?

It's subjective but I'm compare to most European city in the heart of the city, i would say, mid range. If one enjoy cooking, it can save a lot. Most restaurants price starts from 8€ A decent meal.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Brussels? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not very easy to find one in the heart of brussels, most places is outside the heart of brussels or less vivid neighbourhood.
To be in the center and yet without noise, it's not easy.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Brown beer Beef stew and Flemish white asperge with egg.

What places would you recommend visiting in Brussels?

Bozar, comic museum, grand place and just walking around to discover, it's the best experience then siting in a tour bus.

Is it good to eat out in Brussels? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

Rue de Flandres, multi mix culture restaurant from low to high end.

Is the nightlife good in Brussels? Where is good to go?

City parade , Fuse, Tomorrowland of course and many more independent party parties
