Why did you choose to go to Brussels, Belgium?
because the internship provided by my university was related to my field of studies and on something I am interested in.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
the scholarship covers the whole period I'll be here, but is not sufficient to cover all the costs. I receive 430 euro/month.
What is the student lifestyle like in Brussels?
I am an intern, actually. I like it very much, everyone at my workplace is really kind to me and helpful.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?
the city for sure, people are very nice and almost everyone speaks English, which is quite helpful for me (I don't know French)
What is the food like?
there are many different options you can choose from. I'm still into Italian food
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brussels?
not that much, I used internet to find the apartment I'm currently living in.
How much does it cost to live in Brussels?
around 600 euro/month if you are going to share your apt. with someone else. If not, even more.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
with English you can survive here.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?
I came from Milan, and the best alternative was taking the plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brussels?
Place Luxembourg is quite a famous place during the week, while during the weekends Cafe Belga.
