Erasmus Experience in Brussels, Belgium by Tahnee
Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?
I would recommend Brussels if you are an open-minded person that enjoys to learn about all the different cultures that are represented here. You'll meet amazing new people and have many possibilities to go and have some drinks with friends. The cost of living is, for a capital city, also acceptable.
What is the food like?
The food in the supermarket is pretty similar to the food you get in many other European cities. Belgian specialities are Moules et frites, waffles and praline, which you can get basically anywhere.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brussels?
There are a lot of ads on the Internet that facilitate it to find a good place to stay. So no need to spend money on that just do some good research; ).
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?
Flixbus; it's very cheap and there are routes everyday.
