Why did you choose to go to Brussels, Belgium?

To attend my current Internship

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

The major earnings that I have at the moment are from my current salary which is bit less than 1000 gross pay. If it was for my grant (1100 euros for 6 months of staying) I couldn't survive.

What is the student lifestyle like in Brussels?

Usually has an International background (spent bachelor elsewhere than his/her country), really keen in English and always ready for a house party

Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?

Just for short stays

What is the food like?

Really good to be honest, wide range of meat plates, lot of sweats and countless variety of beers

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brussels?

I've used a really useful house rent platform which I'd like to suggest: Housing anywhere. They take a fee, which could vary on the rent amount of course, and they keep deposit you'll send to the landlords till the first few days of staying (so you can check it out if you want to stay or not). My accommodation cost me 600 euros, which for my neighbourhood is quite expensive (but I'm not paying for bills and I have a clean lady and a trash man to collect all the garbage of the floors).

How much does it cost to live in Brussels?

from 600 to 800 comprising rent and cost of living.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

French (the main language) it's easy one. Any case you can enrol in one of the multiple cheap courses for foreigners.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?

Bus for sure? subway its not well connected unfortunately

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brussels?

go in Saint-Cathrine. a good span of bars and clubs all around

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brussels?

C'est bell C'est Belge

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Mainly in the city centre, but the EU district it's good too.
