What was the student atmosphere like in Brussels?

The atmosphere in Brussels is super, lots of organised nights out, places to go out, etc.

Would you recommend the city and the university of Brussels to other students?

Yes.

What was the food like in Belgium?

Fries and mussels.

Did you have any problems finding accommodation in Brussels?

Yes, the accommodation is often a bit expensive or not very good quality. You should look in advance if you want to get good value for money.

What's the cost of living in Brussels?

Living is a bit expensive: food, accommodation, transport (other than the student travel pass for the year).

How is learning the language? Have you been to language courses organised by the university?

I already speak French.

What's the most economical way to travel to Brussels from your town?

Bus (Megabus, from Lyon or Paris).

Where would you recommend to go to party in Brussels?

Flagey, Cimitière d'Ixelles.
