Why did you choose to go to Brussels, Belgium?
I choose because I can practice English and French and also you can learn Dutch and you can travel everywhere with low prices.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I'm going to study in Brussels both semesters.
I receive 2300 more or less.
What is the student lifestyle like in Brussels?
You can do a lot of things everyday, go to the univerity, travel around Belgium, drink some beers, go party, visit the city...
Would you recommend the city and the University of Brussels to other students?
Sure.
What is the food like?
The food isn't especially good, everything is fried food.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Brussels?
No, there are so many options.
How much does it cost to live in Brussels?
The accomodation around 500€ per month but there are benefits for students.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Both yes.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Brussels from your city?
I have to take a plane.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Brussels?
I recommend the city center or near to the ULB.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Brussels?
I recommend Frit Flagey, definetly.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
You can visit the Grand Place, the European neighborhood, the Royal Palace, the Atomium...
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Brussels in the future?
You have to travel a lot, taste beers and enjoy your experience.
