kind exchange student (22, female) from Berlin (studying in Maastricht) looking for accomodation in Brighton

Hello,

My name is Theresa and I am an exchange student from University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, currently looking for a room in Brighton for the fall semester 2019. More specifically, I am looking for a place to stay from September to December 2019, ideally somewhere close to the sea or the cultural centre of Brighton. I would appreciate cheerful, open-minded and kind people to stay with since I love to have thoughtful conversations or to prepare a meal together every now and then.

I grew up in Berlin with five brothers and I genuinely like to share the everyday-life aspects with the people I live with. I would describe myself as a friendly, clean, and cooperative flatmate. Growing up in Berlin, I appreciated the multi-cultural flair and the possibility to get in contact with the different influences of people from around the world. In my free time, I like to listen to music, play the flute, make films, do volunteer work to prevent food waste, and to do sports – especially team sports, such as football but I also have a passion for horseback riding, playing table-tennis, as well as skiing and snowboarding.

During my semester abroad, I would love to get to know the local culture in Brighton, which motivates me to stay with people living there. Especially the theatre and film scene are of high interest to me since this is also my field of study at Sussex University. After my current bachelor, I am considering to study directing in theatre or documentary filmmaking for social change in Sussex.

Regarding financial issues, I will be supported by my parents to cover the every-day living expenses while I will finance the rent with my current summer job on a film set in Berlin. If you would like to have any further information, please feel free to contact me.
