Why did you choose to go to Braga, Portugal?

It was distant and exotic country for me. Also the weather, ocean and the fact that i didnt knew a lot for this country.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I recieved around 500eur per month in total 10 months. Half of th emoney i recieved after i was in Bulgaria

What is the student lifestyle like in Braga?

Its full of young people, Its full of foreign people. Multicultural environment and a lot of tipical portuguese traditions. That mixture is great

Would you recommend the city and the University of Braga to other students?

I will for sure recommend it. Great place

What is the food like?

I didnt really like portuguese food. mostly the way they are preparing the food. But the variety of food in the supermarkets is amazing. Plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables and sea food. Prices are also good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Braga?

It was really easy. I found it for 2 hours.

How much does it cost to live in Braga?

around 500 -600 eur per month is normal amount if you also want to have fun and travel a bit.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Language is nice, interesting, exotic. I had also course before erasmus.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Braga from your city?

No easy way. I used TAP, but tickets to Bulgaria are expencive. No low cost available as well.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Braga?

Sardinia Biba. In the beggining music is strange for people from east and central europe, but after some months i do like it.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Braga?

I dont know the name. But they made the best francesinia. Invite me there. i will show it to you ;)

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Bom Jesus; city center.....

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Braga in the future?

Have fun; live fully and enjoy Portugal as much as you can
