Why did you choose to go to Braga, Portugal?

I could choose Sweden or Portugal. I made my choise for warm country. I didn't regret it.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

My case it was 5 months scholarship. I had received 400 euros. It was in 2010. I have no idea how much it right now.

What is the student lifestyle like in Braga?

Student lifestyle was entertaining. Braga is not a big city but there are olaces to have fun. Also there is a big city (O Porto) next to Braga.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Braga to other students?

I defenitely recommend to meet this warm country and warm people of it.

What is the food like?

If you like sea food you will like. I liked bacalhau. you should try.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Braga?

I stayed at University dorm. It was realy good and cheap comparing other countries in europe.

How much does it cost to live in Braga?

I recommend you to ask someone recenltly erasmus. My information about costs are not updated.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

For me the language was problem at the beginning. But i am a person want to learn new language so I learnt portuguese.
There is language course of university but you need to try yourself.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Braga from your city?

Airplane Istanbul-Porto (may be transit via europe), train Porto-Braga.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Braga?

you could discover yourself. It is not a big city so easy to discover.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There are a lot of places in Portugal to visit. I have been a lot of cities and couldn't finish.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Braga in the future?

You won't regret.
