Braga is a very affordable city and full of nice people. The place is very historic and the weather is beautiful.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
I am not on any scholarship. I am a self-sponsoring student.
What is the student lifestyle like in Braga?
The lifestyle is beautiful.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Braga to other students?
Yes, anytime!!
What is the food like?
The food is very healthy.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Braga?
It did not cost me anything.
How much does it cost to live in Braga?
I am on a rent budget of about 200Euros and a feeding budget of 100Euros monthly.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes the language is easy if you are wiling to learn. There are language courses available but not for free.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Braga from your city?
I am from Nigeria, so usually you have to take 2 flights and a train/bus when travelling to Braga.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Braga?
Braga is a very safe city. I think you could go anywhere at night if you want.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Braga?
Babylon and cafes at the city centre.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Fatima and Bom Jesus are the places i've visited. These places have lots of cultural history attached to them.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Braga in the future?
Braga is a unique and peaceful city. I would recommend it anytime, any day!!
