Because of the Minho University.

What is the student lifestyle like in Braga?

All the city is designed for students, all the places have the student menu, there are lots of parties and people all get together.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Braga to other students?

For sure!

What is the food like?

There is not a big dish, but it's good.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Braga?

No, I got university accommodation.

How much does it cost to live in Braga?

It's very cheap. About 400 $ per month.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I've already speak Portuguese, but you can find languages courses at the university.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Braga from your city?

By plane to Porto and then get a train to Braga and finally a cab to your accommodation.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Braga?

If you like bars, there is Bar do Lipi, Bar Académico (BA). If you like night clubs you should definetly go to Sardinha Biba.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Braga?

I used to go to Sabor da Fruta.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

There's the tuna. They make parties and cultural events.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Braga in the future?

Braga is awesome, the people are great and you can go everywhere walking. It's a small city, so you have the chance to know lots of people, you can be with all different kind of people. It was the best time of my life.
