New archaeologist PhD with a wife and one small dog looking for accomodations in Bordeaux
- Move in date: 1 September 2019
- Minumum stay: 2 months

Hi! I am a an American archaeologist who recently accepted a new job with the Universite de Bordeaux as a postdoctoral researcher. I am expecting to begin the position in September of 2019. My positon is for two years so ideally I can find accomodations for at least a year or two. But I am hoping to find accomodations for at least two months so that I can get settled in France. I am married and my wife, a graphic artist, will be coming with me as well as our little dog. We are quiet and clean people and do not have parties. Both my wife and I are artists and enjoy the outdoors, running, and exploring. Neither me nor my wife is fluent in French at the moment, but we are learning quickly. I also speak Spanish to a degree. The best accomodations would be an apartment or studio which we could rent and live by oursleves, but we understand it is difficult to find. We are open to living in a shared home as well, so long as our little dog is allowed too. He is a quiet little dog and behaves very well, so he will not be a problem either. Overall, we can't wait to move to beautiful Bordeaux!
