25 year old British male looking for 12 months accommodation in Bordeaux

My name is Jay. I am 25 year old British male.
My interests include nature, philosophy, programming, learning new things and football. I like to program and occasionally go for a run :-).
I'm introvert who likes to get to know a small amount of people really well. I am coming to France to enjoy Lyon, visit many other cities, finish my MSc in Computer Science & Data Analytics and learn a new language.
My french will be very basic at first but I am commited to learning, and helping others with English.
I will be on a 12 months visitor visa. I am looking to arrive from 29th December 2021 onwards.
I am after a room which that has a desk for work. Ideally on the first few floors of a building, rather than at the top as heights make me feel unwell.
