20 year old guy from Australia looking for accommodation in Bordeaux from mid August

Aussie guy, from Sydney. I don't smoke, drink socially. can be shy but when i get to know you i'm quite outgoing. I can speak french and italian. I'll be at Bordeaux iii on exchange from September onwards, till mid feb or whenever the semester and exams finish. Though I'm planning on coming mid-end of august
Looking for a place to stay either central in the city, or near by to the uni.
