20 year old girl, looking for a room in Bordeaux

Hello, Im a 20 year old girl from Slovenia (small country near Italy, Austria, Hungary, Croatia). Im a student at uni - anthropology science. Im looking for a room/flat anything in Bordeux near my university - UNIVERSITE VICTOR SEGALEN or at least with a bus or some transport near by. I come in october 2016 and I need a stay for 9 months. The dates might change due instructions from uni.
I speak fluet english, a bit od italian and a bit of french but i want to expand my knowledge in french language. Also i speak macedonian, slovenian, croatian. I have worked in bars, restaurants and in hostel, so anyone looking for a receptionist?
I am a eager surfer so if you are too thats great if not not a problem. I enjoy knowing people and having fun! Im mostly looking to spend this 9 months in great company with new friends!
If anybody have suggestions of just want to meet when Im there - I would be really thankful for your time!
