Why did you choose to go to Borås, Sweden?

Because my University in Cuba had a project with Borås University and I could not miss the opportunity to get my PhD and improve my language skill.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am not Erasmus student so I do not have scholarship.

What is the student lifestyle like in Borås?

I know that Erasmus students have a lot of fun and always do a lot of things together.

Would you recommend the city and the University of Borås to other students?

Yes!!! It is such a nice city!!

What is the food like?

Its is very tasted and healthy.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Borås?

Yes, this is something very complicate. So I recommend you to start to find out accommodation before come to Sweden.

How much does it cost to live in Borås?

It could be about 8000 sek.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

Yes, there is but I do not know to much about it.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Borås from your city?

I life in Cuba, so is very far away and it is not cheap.

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Borås?

There is some bars, clubs and nice restaurants.

And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Borås?

Yes, I recommend La Copita!!

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

Borås Art Museum, houses theatre, city library.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Borås in the future?

Try to find accommodation as soon as possible :-)
